The Understanding
Follow siblings Sadie and Noah as they make their way home from school during a Compound Flooding Event. Through their journey, The Understanding explores how rainfall, rivers, coastal conditions and human activities can interact to cause flooding.

Listening To Communities
Across the South Oropouche River Basin, the INFLUENCE Project is engaging directly with residents to understand their experiences of flooding, the impacts they face, how long recovery takes and how they currently receive warnings. The findings will help assess whether improved early-warning systems could better support affected communities.
